About us

We are a group of free-flight enthusiasts in Jamaica, and it is our goal to make the sport of paragliding popular in Jamaica. We fly our paragliders all year round on weekends from various sites such as Skyline above Hope Gardens, Malvern near Treasure Beach and other sites on the island. We would be happy to get you involved in this fantastic out-door activity.

If you want to find out more about it, give us a call or come straight to one of our flying sites on weekends and watch or talk with the pilots to get a first-hand impression about this breath-taking way of life.You might think that this is only for adolescent 'dare devils'. Think again, paragliding is for everybody: men and women alike, as well as for the young and the young at heart.

Once you have learned how to fly a paraglider and bought your own gear, there is no additional cost like a fuel charge for an airplane or other fees to get you up into the sky to enjoy the third dimension. Paragliding is an aircraft in a back-pack and allows you to soar for hours like a bird.

How it all began?

In 2001, Claus Vischer, a German paragliding instructor, assisted us in finding a suitable launch site on Skyline Drive near Kingston. It was probably the first time that paragliding was witnessed here. Local pilot and instructor Jurgs took it from there and later explored new flying sites.

Since 2008 he offers instruction for beginners (ground school, groundhandling, short flights from a training hill, and altitude flights from Malvern Hill). He also assists with the procurement of equipment such as gliders, harnesses, avionics and other accessories of different brands at great discounts for local pilots.
